Cape Town has moderately wet [and windy] winters and dry, warm summers, great for spending at one of the peninsula’s unique and beautiful beaches. It also hosts some great sporting events such as the Two Oceans Marathon, Cape Argus Cycle Tour and Red Bull Big Wave Africa surfing competition. It is also host to a magnificent world cup stadium and plenty of adventurous opportunities for paragliding, abseiling, rock climbing, hiking and kite-surfing. The people of South Africa are very friendly and vibrant people who will welcome you with open arms.
During your African internship you will be located in the popular area of Cape Town called Observatory. This vibrant town is conveniently only 7km from the centre of the city and has a unique bohemian atmosphere with trendy restaurants and lively bars.
You will stay in a private, lockable and furnished room in the centrally located house exclusive for the use of internship participants. When living in program housing, you will share the common areas of your house with other interns. You will be sharing shower and toilet facilities and the use of a lounge area with cable television where you can relax.
You will build meaningful relationships and gain valuable insights into the global world of finance, all while experiencing daily adventures in the amazing Mother City.
