We are extremely proud to announce that African Impact founder and Managing Director, Greg Bows, has been chosen as the winner of the IHIF Young Leader of the Year award 2015!

Greg has been recognised for his visionary thinking, dedication and passion for responsible tourism and volunteer travel in Africa. Whilst travelling from Ethiopia to Cape Town in 2003 Greg met Andrew Connolly who would become his cofounder of African Impact and since then he has devoted his time to building groundbreaking conservation-based and humanitarian projects and volunteer experiences that contribute to real and positive change, not only within Africa but around the world.

Greg will be travelling to Berlin to be presented with his award at next month’s International Hotel Investment Forum.

Tess Pearson, event director, “Greg was an exceptional candidate, responsible for raising the profile of volunteer tourism – an emerging area of the sector, and we are thrilled to be able to name him as the winner of the IHIF Young Leader Award 2015
