About the Destination

We operate from a stunning bush camp, Kaya Imbabala, in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, approximately a 30-minute drive from Hoedspruit town.

The camp is made up of 5 deluxe ensuite chalets, with twin as standard (single supplement and double beds available upon request when available) and bathroom with a toilet and shower. The camp operates fully via solar power, embracing eco-tourism approaches, and each of the chalets are built under thatched roofs. The camp is very well located within a stunning scenic part of the reserve. It is within the broader Blue Canyon Game Conservancy, offering an amazing game experience. Birding at Kaya Imbabala is of an exceptional standard, as the birds congregate at the various water pans within the land.

With well thought out bird hide facilities and amazing opportunities to see wildlife including lions, leopards, wild dog, hyena, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and much more, this location truly delivers an exceptional experience for nature enthusiasts.
