Exploring and volunteering with African impact at the age of 17 – the ease of applying for my selected volunteering projected, my journey and the friends I made along the way.
I have spent almost 8 weeks working with animals in South Africa doing the Veterinary Assistance & Abused Animal Shelter volunteer program with African Impact. During my stay I worked in a clinic in Mandela park, Khayelitsha. The clinic is called Mdzananda Animal Clinic.
Whether you are volunteering for 10 days, 1 month or more, you will have an unforgettable experience. You’ll get to know another culture, live new adventures and meet amazing people!
Volunteering undoubtedly brings people from different backgrounds and cultures together. Spending a minimum of six weeks together, volunteers make friends for life. But an engagement? No one expected this!
