During your South African Internship, you will be located in Observatory, a unique suburb with a bohemian vibe, conveniently only 7km from Cape Town city centre. The local culture offers an interesting collection of cafes, boutique stores, book shops and art galleries. In the evenings you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, bars and live music performances.
The house where you will be accommodated is centrally located to shops, restaurants and public transport. You can stay in a private, furnished room exclusive for the use of internship participants and will share the common areas and bathroom facilities of the house with other participants. Meals can be provided at an extra cost, should you prefer not to cater for your own meals.
As you work and travel in Africa, you can explore the tasty and diverse cuisine, rich culture and unbeatable scenery Cape Town has to offer. You can visit cultural and heritage sites and join in some of the great festivals including jazz, music and sport as well as plenty of intriguing markets with a lively atmosphere where you can spend sunny weekends shopping.
You will be left richer in person, with new insights, new friends and full of adrenaline for your next adventure.
