"I really enjoyed the project work. It was challenging at the beginning as it was my first real teaching experience, but it was great getting to know the students and teachers and I will be sad to leave. I most enjoyed getting to know the children and doing the afternoon sessions (arts/drama, wildlife, library). The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were always willing to help with any questions, concerns or specials requests and I will miss them all very much! The accommodations were amazing and totally exceeded my expectations. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location right on the shore of lake Malawi - it made it feel more like a holiday and is definitely better than any other volunteer accommodations we've heard of."

"I thoroughly enjoyed the whole program. Teaching is hard work, but it was extremely rewarding to see many studens trying hard to improve their English skills and come in the afternoon to paricipate in the Sports programs like football and volleyball. The daily interaction with both the school staff and students was by far my favourite parts. Getting learners to improve their skills in volleyball was also extremely memorable since volleyball is not a sport the learners have played very much. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. I felt like I have made many new friends at the volunteer house that I will try to keep in touch with; they were all so caring and friendly to strangers right from the start. They made our volunteer house fun, relaxing and like a second home for me! The house was extremely comfortable, very safe, and overall far better than I could have ever imagined a volunteer accomodation to be like. The view in the back garden and the proximity to the project was unbeatable!"
