Antelope Park Lion Research Photography Project in Antelope Park, Zimbabwe Midlands
Antelope Park Lion Research Photography Project
Set on this stunning exclusive private game reserve, you will have the unique once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to photograph a semi-wild pride of African lions knowing that your images will be used to help in the future release of lions from this unique conservation project. Capture on camera the essence of these amazing creatures in our world renowned release site...
On the 1st of September 2010, we proudly released our first pride of 8 lions (1 male and 7 females) into a controlled site and Stage 2 of our Rehabilitation programme was officially underway! In stage two the lions are given the opportunity to develop a natural pride social system. They have plenty of game to hunt, and their progress is monitored closely, however all human contact is removed. The lions remain in stage two until such time that the pride is stable and self-sustaining.
On this African Lion Research Photography Project, you will have the unique opportunity to observe and record lion behaviours in their natural environment.
