AFRICAN WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY AND CONSERVATION

African Wildlife Photography And Conservation in Thanda Private Game Reserve, North East corner of South Africa

African Wildlife Photography And Conservation

Our Big 5 Wildlife Photography and Conservation Education project offers exciting exposure to the African bush with both wildlife photography and conservation components. Volunteers will start with an in-depth orientation, followed by an intensive 3 day wildlife photography course with a professional photographer to improve on your photography skills. It's excellent photography work experience! A further 3 weeks will be spent photographing the phenomenal wildlife in the park, which boasts all of Africa's Big 5 (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard) and also doing conservation support work in partnership with the Thanda Foundation. We also have the option to stay for 6/8 weeks in total (as opposed to just the 4 week period) - after the 4 week photography project as a photography volunteer, you will then be working closely with the research volunteers to assist them with photo collection for research.

Location: Thanda Private Game reserve, home to the big five with 14,000 hectares is situated one and half hours away from the small town of St Lucia on the North East Coast of South Africa.
