Our photography and conservation projects are ideal for those volunteers wanting to improve your photography skills while giving back to rural communities and conservation efforts. On arrival on project, you’ll go through an in-depth photography workshop with our professional photographers and learn how to take photos of wildlife, landscapes and flora.
You’ll then go out on research drives where you’ll be able to experience the beauty of Africa’s game reserves and national parks and get up close and personal to wildlife, birds, bugs and amazing plant life. Many of our photography projects also provide volunteers with opportunities to do walking safaris and develop their skills in macro photography.
Photographs taken on our projects form part of a large database which is available to charities and NGO’s worldwide. These photos are either used for wildlife research or sold to provide income for communities in need and resources to assist conservation.
