Backpacking in Africa – Work and Travel
You may wish to experience more of Africa before or after your
volunteer placement. It is not uncommon for volunteers to go backpacking
in Africa with the friends that they have made on their
gap year in Africa.
The best way to see the African continent is to work and
travel as it provides you with the best of both worlds.
Travelling and backpacking in Africa gives you a greater and deeper
insight into the fascinating sights, wildlife and cultures that
make up this intriguing land.
Travel After volunteering in Africa
Travel after volunteering in Africa and be rewarded
with sights such as: Uganda’s deep tropical jungles, the endless
plains of Kenya’s Serengeti, the fascinating cultures of Tanzania's
captivating spice island of Zanzibar, palm fringed beaches in Mozambique
and unsurpassed views in South Africa.
An example of an itinerary may be as follows: From Kenya’s
bustling capital Nairobi, move on through Tanzania
and the Serengeti, through Malawi and via her great Lake teeming
with tropical fish, past Victoria Falls
in Zambia and Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park, via Botswana’s
elephant sanctuary Chobe National Park, and on into South
Africa finishing in the vivacious ‘Mother City’
– Cape Town.
