Mozambique - Community & Orphan Care - Pre-school Orphan Teaching & Community Project in Tropical Mozambique

Located in the tropical rural coastal town of Vilanculos, Mozambique, a short boat ride from the World Heritage Site of the Bazaruto Archipelago, our Mozambique Preschool Orphan Teaching and Community Project has been nominated Project of the week!!!

The project involves various aspects of community work and development in and around the area of Vilanculos.
We spend our mornings at a local preschool and most afternoons involved in a number of other exciting community initiatives including language lessons, orphan care, rural home building and sports coaching. Your beach bungalow offers the ideal vantage point to spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and majestic sunrises as you start your day in paradise.

Things to do whilst you are there:
•    Spend time with the Children, enriching their lives
•    Singing and dancing with the children in English, Portuguese and Xitsu
•    Sailing Dhow Safari to the Bazaruto Islands
•    Deep Sea fishing excursions
•    Snorkelling excursions
•    Horseback rides on the beach  for a basic 2 hour ride or for a ride to local fishing village where a fantastic lunch is provided with coconuts, matapa and freshly caught crab.
•    Eating out at fantastic restaurants that can either give you a taste of Mozambique or a taste of home for around USD10!
•    Open Water 3-day PADI Certified Scuba Diving Course
