African Impact is delighted with our 2010 World Travel Awards Nomination!
The annual World Travel Awards serves to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.
The Wall Street Journal dubs the awards the 'Travel Industry's equivalent to the Oscars'.
African Impact has been nominated in the category for best African Conservation Company and shares the nomination with the globally respected organisations &Beyond and Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa.
"We are so excited about this nomination, to us it is a further 'nod' from the tourism industry that we are making a sustainable and positive impact through our work as Africa's leading voluntourism organisation.
In 2009 we were privileged to be nominated for a World Travel Award, British Youth Travel Award and also a South African Imvelo Responsible Tourism Award, so it's brilliant that as we move into 2010 we are seeing further recognition for our work.
We love sharing Africa with our travelers, and love making a difference throughout our amazing continent!"
