NGO Internship-The Happy Africa Foundation

For those seeking an internship placement working with our UK and African-registered charity, The Happy Africa Foundation, there are a number of options available to you.

Interns will spend 12 months living at one of the African Impact project bases: St Lucia or Cape Town in South Africa; or Livingstonen in Zambia. Your primary role will be as a representative of The Happy Africa Foundation and you will be responsible for managing the charity’s projects at that location. You will liaise closely with the African Impact Project Manager for that project and will form part of the team working at the project location.

You will be involved directly with the management of donations and the supervision of the implementation of all funds. This will include all financial aspects as well as monitoring, evaluating and reporting on all donations. Interns are also responsible for raising awareness and fundraising for the Happy Africa Foundation within the local town. You will receive training and a full orientation before you start at the project and will work under the guidance and supervision of our Happy Africa Foundation Manager.
