More About the Marketing and Social Media Internship:

Marketing and Social Media Interns will be based at our head office in Cape Town, and will report to our Sales and Marketing Managers. Interns will get involved in the day to day media and marketing aspects of African Impact as an organization, and Practical Experience will include:

• Contribute to the Growth and Development of African Impact’s Online presence
• Updating of online listings
• Running Promotions
• Conducting Marketing Research
• Compiling of Marketing Documents
• Updating news information
• Blogging/Tweeting
• Video Editing
• Conceptualization and deployment of Marketing campaigns
• Proactive support of daily administration tasks
  

A Certificate of Internship Participation and a Professional Letter of Referral will be provided at the end of your placement with us.


Intern Requirements:

• A background in Marketing and Social Media will be advantageous
• A firm grasp on practical uses for Social Media’s
• A desire to work with media outlets
• Ability to brainstorm social media and marketing idea’s
• Must have a firm grasp on Word, PowerPoint, Excel – Photoshop Advantageous
• Ability to conduct research upon request
• Experience in Video editing Advantageous
• A Mac computer helpful but not necessary
