We wanted to introduce you to the newest members of our pride they are cute, they are fiesty, they are impossible not to fall in love with.. Kovu, a male... is a feisty little dude, ensures that he’s always in the middle of any action. Living with his four pride sisters, he definitely has his paws full with ensuring the girls know who’s boss. He loves playing with the toys that the staff and volunteers make. Only recently started walking in the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park he’s yet to find his feet. Kasama, a very pretty little lioness, Kovu’s birth sister follows in her brothers footsteps on the feisty charts! With a heap of courage and a great deal of curiosity she definitely loves life at Lion Encounter. Being very playful her favourite thing to do is see how quickly she can destroy the toys made for her by the staff and volunteers, we reckon her personal best must be around 2 seconds! Nkoya Before this little one was named, her nickname was Naughty. With a cheeky little face, and mischievous eyes it’s hard not to be entertained by Nkoya and her antics. She’s a boisterous little thing with a playful nature and is enjoying getting used to walking in the National Park. Namwala is a pale coated fluff ball of fun. Namwala is very playful and will stalk birds and leaves, she is wary of people but once she trusts the person she enjoys company. Nembwe The shyest of our little gang, she’s a wary girl, but enjoys the company of her siblings very much. Hanging back slightly, we believe spending time walking in the National Park will help bring her out of her shell.
