2011 saw the introduction to African Impact’s first Wildlife and Research conservation project in South Africa. Our fantastic African Impact staffs on the ground diligently worked away and their hard work paid off as it fast became one of our most popular projects. Set in the heart of breath taking setting of Thanda private game reserve... it’s not hard to understand why! Due to popular demand we are now launching THREE new conservation projects at Thanda... For those of you who want to walk on the wild side, we have set up the Large Predators Research and Conservation Project You will specifically be focusing on the hunting, social, territorial and reproductive behaviours of the lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena populations. If you have a love for the beautiful African Elephant and want to help us monitor and track our new herd which was introduced to park at the beginning of 2011. Or if your passion lies in protecting the endangered Rhino and you want to help support our anti-poaching team with our species reintroduction program then the Elephant and Rhino Research and Conservation project is for you. If you simply cannot decide between the two and want to see and experience it all, don't worry we have African Wildlife Big 5 Conservation Project for the best of both!
